Step 2 - HR - Heavy Rigid

• This is a two day course.
• Clients must have completed knowledge test and have obtained a competency based log book from the RTA for training to take place.
• You must have held a class C, LR or MR licence or equivalent for 2 years or more.
• You must pass a knowledge test and an eyesight test.
• You must either pass an RTA driving test or undertake Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (CBA).
• Three options are available for this licence class: 2004 Model FD Hino Truck, 1996 Model Isuzu Truck or your own private vehicle.
• Cost of $1650 is for unrestricted HR licence (allows for 14 hours of training and assessment). If all competencies are not completed and further time is required there will be a cost of $120 per hour therefore after.
• Cost of $1450 is for HR Synchromesh licence (allows for 12 hours of training and assessment). If all competencies are not completed and further time is required there will be a cost of $120 per hour therefore after.
• Cost to train in own vehicle will be charged at a daily rate of $600 (up to 9 hours of training and assessment).
